Pewarisan Iman Dalam Keluarga: Membangun Ketahanan Spiritual Anak di Era Kerentanan Generasi

This research examines the transmission of faith in Christian families as a foundation for building children's spiritual resilience amid generational vulnerability. The phenomenon of religious switching and secularization among young people indicates that faith transmission does not occur automatically through church attendance or formal religious programs. This study aims to formulate a holistic and integrated model of faith transmission by combining relational, communicative, and formative dimensions. The method used is library research with content analysis and theoretical synthesis from various literatures on faith transmission, children's spiritual formation, and spiritual resilience. The findings reveal that successful faith transmission is determined by three main pillars: emotional closeness between parents and children as the foundation, intentional communication through the verbal home as the method, and meaning-making as the child's personal identity and source of spiritual resilience. This research concludes that the home is the primary locus of faith formation, and parents are its main agents. The home-based faith transmission model offers an alternative to the institutional approach that has dominated religious parenting practices. Further research is needed for the implementation of this model in the Indonesian cultural context and for the development of practical tools for parents.
